Practice makes perfect, and in golf, loosening up before your game is sure to improve your score.
The Dunes practice facilities include a 300-yard driving range, a putting greens, and a chipping green with mounding and a bunker that lets you get into your swing from as far away as 50 yards.
Our driving range has re-opened as of April 25, 2017. 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Before your round, be sure to grab a bucket of balls and practice your swing and loosen up at our driving range, located just south of the clubhouse. A bucket of balls is included in your green fees.
If you are just out for a practice session, tokens for a bucket of balls are available from the Pro Shop. $9 gets you a bucket of balls.
Putting greens have re-opened as of April 25, 2017.
It’s always a good practice a putt a ball or two before it counts. The practice putting green, which is kept to the same standards – and thus the same speed – as the greens throughout our course, is located just outside the clubhouse and at our upper level practice area.
Bunker and Chipping
If it’s your short game that makes you nervous, head to our bunker and chipping green before you start your round. Located on the upper level of the course, en route to the driving range, you can practice your chipping from as far as 50 yards from the green. Mounding and a bunker keep the practice area interesting and challenging.
Arrive early and enjoy. The use of all practice areas at The Dunes is included in your green fees.
